-Mahavir Sanglikar
Genelia D'Souza, the popular and charming actress of Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam movies got married with the famous actor of Bollywood Riteish Deshmukh.
Genelia is 24 and Riteish is 32. They were close friends for last 8 years and now this friendship is turned into marriage.
This marriage is not just of two celebrities, but it has many other aspects.
It is a great marriage
It is a great marriage as Genelia is a Roman Catholic and Riteish Deshmukh is a Maratha Hindu. Both the communities prefer to marry within their own group. But this marriage has broken this tradition. So this marriage is inter-religious and inter-caste marriage.
Further, it is a inter-linguistic marriage, as Genelia is a Tulu speaking girl, while Riteish is a Marathi speaking guy.
Next comes the states. Genelia belongs to Karnataka state of India, while Riteish is from Maharashtra state. Thus it is a inter-state marriage.
An appeal to fans of Genelia and Riteish
Now, when India is getting divided in the name of the religions, castes, states and languages, this marriage shows us a way to integrate. So I would like to appeal all the fans of Genelia and Riteish, to marry with a girl/guy who does not belong to their own group. This is a must thing for national integration. This appeal is not just for the fans of Genelia and Riteish, but for every Indian, who is going to marry.
