Getting back links to your pages is an important and a must thing to improve the traffic as well as to improve Page Rank in the search engines.

Your pages will get back links from other websites without doing anything from your side. I suggest you to just concentrate yourself on writing, writing and writing and let the other people create back links to your pages. But it will take too much time. If you are in hurry to get back links and want to give some of your time on back linking, here are some easy ways to do it.

You can apply my suggestions to your Hubpages, blogs or web pages.

1. Creating Back Links from Comments

Many writers write on the same subjects on which you too write. You should search for the new articles published on the net on the subjects of your interest. Read such articles and then comment on them. Add a link of your article on related subject to your comment. If the comment is published with the link (as many bloggers and website editors have opted for 'comments publishing after moderation'), it will work as a back link.

To find the latest articles to comment, just search in news search and blog search using key words of related topics. You will find a lot of new articles.

Before commenting, you must read the article in detail on which you are going to comment. Give your comment in at least few sentences. I do not recommend Just putting a link of your page as it will considered just as a spam.

2. Back Links from Classified Advertising

Try to advertise your pages through information and other categories on the Classified Advertising websites. There are many Classified Advertising websites which you can find through search engines. Many of them give you an opportunity to publish your advertisement for free.

3. Back Links from Your other Websites

You can provide back links to your pages from your other websites and blogs. Just add RSS feed or create links to specific pages.

Link exchange (i.e. A to B and B to A) is not recommended. One way linking is enough.

4. Back Links from Forums

Many people on net like to discuss their subject of interest with other people. They use forums for this activity. Take part in such discussions in forums and put links to your pages on related subjects there.

You should take part in the discussions. Just leaving a link to your page is not recommended.

5. Back Links from PR Sites

There are many Online Press Release websites, where you can publish a news. Give a link to your website in the news. Most PR website offer their services for free and for a small fee.

6. Back Links from Answers to Questions

There are a lot of Question and Answer websites on the internet. People ask questions about anything they want to know and others who know the answers, give it. Join such websites and answer the questions related to your subject of interest. In the answer you are giving, put a link to your page which is related to the question.

7. Back Links from Your Signature in Email

Put a link to your website or blog in the signature box of your email account. Whenever you will send an email, the receiver will find the link at the end of your message.

Put just one link in the signature, putting many links is not recommended.

8. Back Links from PPC Advertising

Advertise your blog or website through Pay Per Click programs. This is another way of getting back links.

9. Getting Back Links by Writing and Other Websites

Instead of just writing on your own blogs and websites, try to write on some popular websites. Get back links from such other websites. Always choose popular websites for such writing.

10. Back Links from Your Profiles

Put links to your blog/website in your profile at social network sites like Face Book, Google Plus etc.
