Soy Milk, an Alternative to Cow Milk

Soy Milk, milk made from Soybeans has become an alternative to Cow Milk. The soy milk has all qualities of cow milk. It has Protein and Fat, and you can make all the tings from soy milk that you make from cow’s milk: Curd, Buttermilk, Butter, Ghee (Clarified Butter) etc. You can use Soy Milk to make tea or coffee.

Thus Soy Milk is the perfect alternative to Cow’s Milk, especially for the vegans. Furthermore, Soy Milk has some additional qualities. While the life of cow milk is less, Soy Milk is comparatively usable for more days.

What are Soybeans?

Soy milk is made from Soybeans. Soybeans are also known as Soya Beans. It is an oil seed, as well as a pulse. It contains about 20% Fats, 37% Protein and 30% Carbohydrates. It also contains Dietary Fiber, Vitamin A, B6, B12, C and K; Iron, Calcium, Potassium etc. 100 Grams of Soybeans has about 450kcal of energy.

Soybean is one of the popular Global crops. United States, Brazil, Argentina, China and India are the main producers of the crop.

A plain one cup of soy milk contains about 80 calories of energy, 6.5 Grams of Protein, 4.5 Grams of Carbohydrates, 4.5 Grams of Fats as well as Vitamin B6, Calcium, Iron, Copper, Zinc, Folic Acid, Niacin and other nutrient in sufficient quantity.

Stop Consuming Animal Milk.....

There are many reasons to stop consuming Animal Milk and start using Soy Milk. The very first thing to know is that in Dairy Industry, the animals like cows and buffalos are tortured for whole of their life when they produce milk. And when the animals stop to produce milk, they are sent to Slaughter Houses.

The second thing you must know is that the Animal Milk is no more remained pure. Adulteration has become a common thing, and what we take in the name of animal milk might be artificial milk made from chemicals.

Cows and other milk producing animals require much more food consumption to produce milk. To produce one liter milk, the animal requires about 5 liters of water and 600 grams of dry food. For feeding milk producing animals, we are using a large quantity of water and raw food. To produce this food for milk producing animals, we are using a large size of land. If we produce milk directly from Soy Beans, we save lot of water and land, can produce milk and make it available at cheaper rates. At he same time we can stop the crime against animals.
